If you're looking for a satisfying breakfast that will leave you feeling full, oatmeal may be your best bet, at least compared with ready-to-eat cereal. A small new study published in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition showed that eating oatmeal for breakfast resulted in greater feelings of fullness and decreased desire to eat four hours later, compared with oat-based ready-to-eat cereal.
